Postiz posts lose blank lines
1What happened
Our social media agents schedule posts in Postiz. Posts went out with every paragraph run into one block. One X post ended "The full story, 5 minutes:" with no link. The queued text didn't match the approved text, and nothing compared them.
2What we did
Tried line breaks. Postiz collapsed them.
For buildersSend Postiz an empty paragraph (<p></p>) between paragraphs, not <br>.Added a check to the script our agents queue posts with. It refuses a post that lost its blank lines or its link.
Every 30 minutes, a sweep reads posts due in the next 7 days and flags problems. It catches posts made by hand in Postiz.
3How we know it worked
The check refused the broken X post we had found for 3 reasons. By hand we found 26 run-together posts and 2 missing links; the sweep read 63 posts and flagged the same 28.
4What you can take from it
Compare what is queued with what was approved. A post queued under 30 minutes before it goes out can slip past a 30-minute sweep.
